Utah’s Mining Industry Voice Since 1915
For over 100 years, the Utah Mining Association has had the honor of representing an industry that is essential to everyone’s lifestyle and standard of living. As the beginning of the supply chain for everything we use and everything we do as a society, the mining industry has a great story to tell, and our association exists to tell that story.

While his career has taken him to four continents, Matt has made Utah his home. He enjoys the area’s great biking and hiking, as well as attending Real Salt Lake games with his wife Kathleen, and his children Grace and Jess. He spends much of his free time working in the community and is grateful to be able to support many wonderful local organizations.
